The fix is straightforward, but doing it right takes actually clearing every run by hand — not blowing the loose stuff off the top and calling it done, which leaves the packed, decomposed debris sitting in the bottom of the trough exactly where it clogs the next downspout.
Every downspout gets a water flush-test once the run is clear, so I know for certain it drains free before I leave — not just that the trough looks empty from the ladder. You get a before/after photo report so you can see the work without climbing up yourself.
