The West Chester Roofs I Actually See
West Chester is one of the biggest townships in Ohio, and the roofs tell you which decade you're standing in:
Beckett Ridge — the golf-course streets went up in the 80s and 90s, which puts many of those homes on their second roof, not their first. Second roofs are where I check decking and ventilation carefully: a re-roof done cheap twenty years ago is usually hiding something.
Wetherington — larger custom homes, complex rooflines, and an HOA with a real approval process. I do the color submittal and paperwork as part of the job, and the crew treats the property like the neighborhood expects.
The Tylersville and Union Centre corridors — wave after wave of 90s and 2000s subdivisions, most with builder-grade shingles installed street-by-street in the same season. When one house on the street gets approved for hail damage, it's worth having yours looked at — same storm, same shingles, same age.
Olde West Chester — the historic core along Cincinnati-Dayton Road carries older, steeper roofs where the right answer is sometimes a repair, not a replacement. I'll tell you which one you actually need.
