One-Piece Siding Fix + Whole-Roof Walk & Caulk
A gable-peak joint had opened up where the J-channel meets the trim — one-piece siding repair, sealed back tight. While we were up there we walked the whole roof and hit every exposed fastener and flashing seam with sealant. Small job, treated like a big one.
Wind-Lifted Shingles, Reset by Hand
Wind tore tabs loose across one slope and some shingles came apart in two layers when handled. We documented everything for the claim, backed the nails out with a shingle ripper, and reset the courses by hand — replacing what was too far gone.

The shingle manufacturer’s claims department needed samples pulled a specific way, in a specific condition. We made the site visit, documented the leak area, pulled the samples per spec, sealed every removal spot with a temporary weather-tight patch, and left the homeowner a written field summary for their claim file.

Historic downtown and the river streets — the older homes near the bike trail and the Little Miami carry steep pitches, mature tree cover, and decking that's seen a few generations of roofs. Trees mean two things here: limb strikes after wind events, and heavy shade that streaks north-facing slopes. Neither one is cosmetic-only — I check both.
The subdivision side — the 90s and 2000s developments up out of the valley toward Symmes Township and the Maineville line went in with builder-grade shingles that are now aging into replacement territory street by street.
The three-county wrinkle — Loveland spans Hamilton, Clermont, and Warren counties, and your side of the line decides which building department your permit and your inspection go through. I've pulled permits in all three. You don't need to figure out which one you're in — that's my job.
