📍 Serving Amelia, OH

Your Amelia Roofer.
It's Just Me, Joe.

Amelia's growth along the SR 125 corridor has brought a wave of newer homes — many now 10-15 years old and approaching their first roof maintenance window. I help Amelia homeowners understand what's normal aging versus actual storm damage before they file a claim.

Why Amelia homeowners choose NBD

Storm Damage in Amelia

⛈️ Why Amelia roofs are at risk

Amelia sits on higher ground east of Batavia, catching storm systems as they sweep across Clermont County. The open farmland to the south provides no wind break, making Amelia roofs particularly vulnerable to straight-line wind events.

Think your Amelia roof might have storm damage? I offer free roof inspections with photo documentation. If there's damage, I'll walk you through the insurance claim process step by step. If there isn't, I'll tell you honestly — no manufactured urgency.

Local knowledge

The Amelia Roofs I Actually See

Amelia has a wrinkle most homeowners here already know but most contractors don't handle well:

The village that isn't a village anymore — since the 2019 dissolution, Amelia addresses actually sit in Pierce Township or Batavia Township. That decides where your permit gets pulled and who inspects the work. I sort out which side of the line you're on — you shouldn't have to.

The Ohio Pike corridor — the subdivisions off SR 125 went up mostly in the 90s and 2000s with builder-grade shingles, and those streets are aging into replacement together. Clermont County generates a lot of storm claims, so before you assume a roof this age is an out-of-pocket job, it's worth a documented inspection — same-age shingles plus a qualifying storm often means insurance work.

The older core — the streets around old Main Street carry earlier homes with steeper pitches and, on some, more than one layer of shingles. Ohio code caps the layers, so some of these are tear-offs by rule — I'll tell you up front, with photos.

Township line or no township line, the job works the same way: I walk it, document it, and give it to you straight.
